Michaela Giglio is our Junior Associate who joined the LexPractis team in 2022. She graduated from the University of Malta with a B.A.(Honours) in Law in 2021 and also earned a Masters Degree in Advocacy in 2022. During her time at university, Michaela also submitted an outstanding dissertation on a topical international maritime legal issue, titled: ‘Enforcement Jurisdiction on the High Seas’.
Throughout the course of her studies Michaela has acquired the necessary skill set to pursue her professional legal career. She acquired all these essential attributes while she represented students on the Council of the University of Malta, she also played an active role within her student cohort in general on pressing matters raised at the University of Malta. Furthermore, Michaela was the EU Careers Student Ambassador at the University of Malta for the European Personnel Selection Office.
In addition, during the course of her studies, Michaela worked as an English Teacher part-time, she completed a Student Summer Internship Programme at Deloitte and attended court sittings with the LexPractis team.
Michaela’s professional interests revolve around both local and international local litigation. Upon completion of her studies Michaela has been assisting the LexPractis team on a number of cases and contributes to the research required in respect of each case.
